Skin Essentials opened its doors in October of 1995. Initially, Skin Essentials
consisted of Phyllis Rollins (esthetician) and one
part-time massage therapist. Today the business has
grown with 10 Therapists and 2 Spa Directors. The
plans are to expand to offer more services consisting
of Vichy Shower. Skin Essentials is a member of the
Chamber of Commerce and International Spa Association.

| Phyllis O. Rollins
Owner, Founder and Esthetician
Phyllis is a native of Greenwood. She attended Lander
University and Piedmont Technical College with Business
as a major. She worked with an Aerospace Company in
Greenwood for ten years as a Systems Administrator.
She then attended Esthetics International School in
Columbia, S.C. She graduated in April 1995 and opened
Skin Essentials in October of that year. |

Taina
Lindström-Redfern
Spa Director and General Manager
Spa Director, Taina Redfern's background in business,
marketing and customer relations makes her uniquely
qualified to manage the
operation of Skin Essentials. Her goal is to provide
a warm and
welcoming environment that is mutually satisfying
for both the
guests and the therapists.
Taina has called Greenwood home for nineteen years
and is married
to John Redfern of Davis & Floyd, Inc. They have
three adult
children: John, Christopher, and Christina (and a
new son-in-law)
as well as their youngest daughter, Katherine, who
is a Junior at
Greenwood High School. |

Coleman
Massage Therapist
Donna is native to Greenwood County. She is a graduate
of Erskine College, where she earned a degree in Behavioral
Science emphasizing in Special Education. She has
spent her career in the healing arts as a counselor
and is currently working with the Greenville Housing
Authority. Donna has furthered her education and experiences
by becoming a licensed massage therapist. She completed
a 750 hour certification program at Greenville Technical
College in May of 2001. |

Darla
Lordemann
Cosmetologist
Darla has 30 plus years of experience in the hair
and beauty industry. She is licensed in three states
and began her schooling in the Midwest. She has two
grown sons and has a 2 year old granddaughter who
adds sweetness to her life with interests in cooking,
decorating, antiquing and church activities.

Jeanie
Patterson
Jeanie studied Color Analysis in McLean,Virginia
by the famous author Carol Jackson who wrote the books
"Color Me Beautiful" and "Color for
Men." She received training in color analysis,
wardrobe planning, figure analysis and make up techniques.
For several years she held classes at leading department
stores in SC, NC and GA as well as having a studio
in Greenwood to do color analysis. Jeanie is one of
only four Consultants in South Carolina trained by
Carol Jackson.

| Alice Polatty
Esthetician and Nail Technician
Alice has been married to Danny Polatty for 4 years.
Together they have a precious two year old named Zachary.
She graduated from the Nail Tech Academy of Easley
and has been employed with Skin Essentials since May
2006. She completed the Esthetics program at the South
Carolina School of Massage and Esthetics in January
of 2007 and is now with us full time. When she is
not working she enjoys spending time with friends
and family.

Sherie
Timmons
Massage Therapist
Sherie is a graduate of the Southeastern School of
Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy where her peers
voted her "Best all around therapist." She
specializes in neuromuscular and connective tissue
massage as well as integrative muscle balancing. She
and her 8 year old son live on a farm in Saluda and
enjoy regular church activities at Calvary Chapel
of Greenwood. She also enjoys doing stained glass
and enjoys the arts. |
| Robyn Yonce
Nail Technician
Robyn is a native of Greenwood and graduated from
Greenwood High School. She attended Carolina College
of Cosmetology to become a licensed Nail Technician.
She grew up in a large family with 3 brothers and
5 sisters. She has a wonderful daughter, Summer, who
is four years old. Robyn loves being a nail technician
and pampering her clients!

Lydia Redden
Hair Stylist
Lydia is originally from the Philippines , but has
called Greenwood home for 37 years. She has three
children and ten grandchildren.
She has been a stylist for seven years and provides
hair services ranging from Cut and Style to All-Over
Color or Foils to the most
Formal Styles. Lydia specializes in pageant and prom
preparation.

Freyia Osterwald
Massage Therapist
Freyia is a European trained massage therapist, who
graduated from the Elizabeth Dicke Institute –
a well known physical therapist school – in
Mainz, Germany.
She has completed 2,200 hours in various types of
therapeutic massage, specializing in manual lymph
drainage and combined decongestive therapy, as well
as connective tissue.
In November 2005, she attended Dr. Vodder's School
in Austria, one of the most renowned International
Institutes for Manual Lymph Drainage.
She also worked as a massage therapist for the U.S.
Military in Germany, as well as in orthopedic clinics
in Germany. Since returning to the States she has
been self-employed.
Although Freyia is a Greenwood native, she spent 24
years living in Germany and has traveled throughout
Europe and to New Zealand, Morocco, Brazil and Mexico.
Apart from her obvious love of travel, she enjoys
gardening and spending time with her 2 dogs and 3
cats.
